What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Good morning, my friends. Our weather is improving somewhat. We saw some blue sky and sunshine yesterday. If the forecast is to be believed, we should start seeing less rain over the coming week. We're still keeping our fingers crossed for good weather when we travel to Washington. We have lots of hiking planned, and it'll be nicer if we don't have to don our rain gear.

Good morning, my friends! Are you feeling lucky? Today marks the 14th anniversary of Cat Patches. Today's post will be my 5,653rd post. When I started blogging, it was because I wanted to learn from more experienced quilters (I didn’t learn until July of 2008). Also, there were online groups and events I wanted to join in and participate via blogging. With the passage of time, it has evolved into my daily “letter to friends.” When I started writing, I never dreamed I would stick with it for so long.

Good morning, my friends. It was a busy morning yesterday. I didn't get as much sewing done as I'd hoped, but I did get in a walk on the treadmill. Yay me! Today is a grocery shopping day, but I'm still hoping to get in a Bowflex workout. If I can keep it up for a couple of weeks, I think I'll successfully have incorporated more movement into my morning routine. I'm hoping the weather will cool off, and I can get in some walks outside.

Good morning, my friends. Welcome to Wednesday. It's been a slow couple of days here at the Three Cats Ranch. I've been sidelined from my quilting project, but my wrist is improving slowly. The pain in the back of my hand has settled down. There's still some stiffness in my wrist, and so I'll just cool my jets for another day of not-quilting. Good morning, my friends. Ahhhh...Saturday. It's a good day. Saturday might be my favorite day of the week, although I can't really tell you why. Possibly because it's the one day of the week I was able to sleep in as a younger person, and I grew fond of it for that alone. When I was a child, we attended Sunday school and church on Sunday. We went to two church services because my dad sang in the choir and my mom played the organ. And let's face it...when you're a kid, church ...

Good morning, my friends. Well, mind like a steel trap. When I wrote yesterday's post, I completely forgot there was a Tiny House waiting to be constructed. It was kind of a busy day in town. We made three stops before we got home. And then there were groceries to put away. And then, obviously, we needed naps. It was fairly late in the day before I made my way into the sewing room. There, my little helper was put out that we were doing paper-piecing yet again.

What? Papurr piecing? Is that all I'm good for these ...

The biggest accomplishment yesterday was to finish off the sixth of seven rows of blocks on Ella's Flower Garden. I should easily be able to finish off the quilting today.
